How do I measure
my vent?
Just measure the size of the duct opening, length
and width. The vent is made with a lip (for self rimming) which extends beyond the duct opening to trim the area
or frame (for flush mounts) on all sides unless specified.
For Baseboard Vents the length and width of the hole
as well as the length height and width of the area
you want covered. That's the measurement we go by.

What if my vent size is not listed?
Just contact us with your measurements. We'll be
happy to give you a quote on a custom built vent.
What if I order the wrong size?
We understand how hard it is to judge measurements
sometimes! We want you to be satisfied so just send
us the standard registers back and we'll replace them
with the right ones. It's as easy as that!
How strong are your floor vents?
It's natural to worry about the strength of a floor
vent, particularly if it is going to be in a high
traffic area. That's why we make ours out of an interlocking
grid of solid oak. That way you're guaranteed the
strongest vent possible. But if something unforseen
does happen, just let us know and we'll replace it.
How do I finish my vent?
We are happy to finish or prime paint your standard and custom wood vents and air returns to match most anything. Just let us know and we can send you a color chart. If you want to finith your wood vents, there will be step by step instructions shipped along
with your vent to let you know how to get just the
right finish. If you still need help or just want
someone to walk you through it, just give us a call.
How long after I make a payment will I receive
my order?
For most of our vents, we keep plenty in stock. But
to be safe, we usually ask that you allow seven to
ten business days for us to ship. This is especially
true if we custom build something for you and you
may want to check for lead times as they vary throughout
the year if you have a deadline.
If you've ordered a specialty wood, or custom
size just contact us to see how long it will take.

What if I don't want to use a credit card?
We are happy to accept money orders, PayPal (which
accepts personal checks, and most all credit cards)
Visa, Mastercard or company checks. (We will wait
for a check to clear before shipment.) Just write

What is your return policy?
We want you to feel secure ordering over the internet.
If you order a vent and it doesn't fit, just send
it back and we'll replace it. Be sure to do this before
you finish it, though! (Once you've stained a vent,
we can't sell it to anyone else.) Note:We do not return
shipping costs.
